Fuel Services
The City owns and operates a Bulk Fuel Storage Facility. The facility stores gasoline, ultralow Sulphur diesel fuel, #2 heating fuel, and marine diesel. Total tank capacity is 1.8 million gallons. Product is received via marine barge delivery about two times a year. The City sells these products to residents, visitors, and vessels. The City is currently purchasing gasoline and diesel from Petro Star Inc.
Gas Station
The City Gas Station is located at 1001 Diamond Hill Road near the City Public Works compound. Both gasoline and #2 diesel fuel are sold at the gas station.
Payments
The City accepts the following forms of payment at the Gas Station: cash, checks, cards that are on file at the at the City Cashier Office, and via accounts.

Heating Fuel Sales
The City delivers heating fuel via tanker truck to homes and businesses on St. Paul Island year-round.
Payments
The City accepts the following forms of payment for heating fuel: cash, checks, credit or debit cards at the City Cashier Office. The City also sends out monthly statements via US Mail for those residents and businesses that have approved accounts.

The City sells both gasoline and diesel fuel at the City South Dock.

Payment for marine fuel is by City account only.

Spill Response
The City is prepared to respond to fuel spills in the St. Paul Harbor and at the Facility. The City is its own independent spill response operator. The City responds to spills in accordance with our approved Oil Discharge Prevention and Contingency Plan/Facility Response Plan.
