Saint Paul Harbor Critical Improvements Open House Meetings

SAINT PAUL ISLAND, AK — The City of Saint Paul, in partnership with PND Engineers, invites all residents and harbor users to participate in a series of public open house workshops starting Friday, October 2, 2026.

These workshops are your opportunity to provide input and help craft the master plan for the harbor and its waterfront. The Saint Paul Harbor Critical Improvements Project will modernize and stabilize the island’s maritime infrastructure to safely handle increasing vessel activity and withstand severe storm and tidal impacts.

  • Friday, October 2 from 4:00 -7:00pm
    Public Open House #1
Provide initial input on needs and priorities related to the harbor and its waterfront.
  • Saturday, October 3 from 4:00 -7:00pm
    Public Open House #2
Review the draft conceptual harbor and waterfront plans developed by the consultants and provide your input.
  • All meetings to be held in the Rec Hall.

Public feedback is a vital piece of the initial master planning effort. The pre-construction, design, and environmental permitting phases rely on community guidance to ensure the harbor successfully serves Saint Paul Island for years to come. Please join us to collaborate with the project consultants and help guide the preliminary plans.
