The City of Saint Paul, Aleut Community of St. Paul Island Tribal Government, Tanadgusix Corporation, and Central Bering Sea Fishermen’s Association submitted supplemental comments to the US Department of Transportation’ Essential Air Service. Specially, this joint letter highlighted concerns with awarding the EAS contract to Kenai Aviation LLC and therefore withdrawing support in order to find a more acceptable and sustainable solution that will serve the community’s needs.
