Public Comment Period for Bulk Fuel Storage Facility Oil Discharge Prevention and Contingency Plan

On October 15, 2025, the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) received a response to its Requests for Additional Information regarding the City of Saint Paul Bulk Fuel Storage Facility Oil Discharge Prevention and Contingency Plan. In accordance with 18 AAC 75.455(d), there is a 10-day public comment period for the additional information received. This comment period is limited to the additional information submitted in response to DEC’s Requests for Additional Information.

The review schedule is designated as follows:

Start of comment period: October 30, 2025
End of comment period: November 12, 2025 at 5:00 pm

DEC will make a determination as to whether the application package is complete and notify City of Saint Paul within seven working days of the end of comment period. However, if DEC determines that additional information is still needed, DEC will send another Request for Additional Information.
